{"id":1697,"date":"2016-07-04T12:15:20","date_gmt":"2016-07-04T12:15:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.scoalababel.ro\/preview\/?page_id=1697"},"modified":"2021-10-07T10:11:22","modified_gmt":"2021-10-07T10:11:22","slug":"curricula-si-orar","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.scoalababel.ro\/en\/despre-scoala\/curricula-si-orar\/","title":{"rendered":"Curriculum and program"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The way we organize the time reflects our care for the natural needs of our students and our concern for an efficient learning process.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Connection Time<\/strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We start in the morning with some movement and personal development activities in order to connect to the group.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Instruction and Contract Time<\/strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Once we are ready, physically and emotionally, each student makes his\/her choice from learning challenges that they can address during their Contract Time (time for independent learning). They discover the ways in which they are better than yesterday at what they are studying.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Then, we gather back as a group and discover new things about Communication, Maths, Social Studies or Science. Instruction time is flexible for each student, as they can choose, at any point, to continue autonomously if they do not need the teachers\u2019 input. <\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=&#8221;3398&#8243; img_size=&#8221;large&#8221; alignment=&#8221;center&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<strong>Movement and Creative Time<\/strong><br \/>\nThe day ends with a creative activity or a language taught in a creative and relaxing way (through music, theatre, dance, art).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reflection Time<\/strong><br \/>\nEach day (in primary school) and each class (in secondary) ends with a time allocated for reflection and integration, in which children can give insights about their experience of learning.<\/p>\n<p>On Friday, activities are organized around the idea that learning doesn\u2019t happen only between the four walls of a classroom. Each class has at least two trips per month (one in the city, one in the forest), places where students can practice, observe and apply in real life the abilities we develop inside the classroom.
